Starting hourly rate $24.00 per hour with differential pay given for hours worked between 3 PM-7 AM.

ABOUT EAGLE HOUSE
Program Overview 24-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) serving children ages 6-12 Functions as a step-down or diversion from inpatient hospitalization Serves youth with severe emotional and behavioral challenges related to significant trauma
  • Average length of stay: 4 months
Goal:
stabilize youth and prepare them for transition to community-based care, family, or foster placement
  • Provides intensive, trauma-informed care focused on relationship-building and skill development
  • Services include: o Psychiatry and nursing evaluations o Individual, group, and family therapy o Case management o Therapeutic recreation o Special education services Emphasis on helping youth build emotional regulation, coping skills, and positive interactions with peers and adults Position Overview
  • Shift Supervisor Coordinate shift operations by ensuring appropriate staffing, schedule coverage, assignments, and required equipment for all team members.
Monitor daily program activities, including admissions, discharges, transportation, appointments, school transitions, field trips, and special events to ensure safe and efficient operations. Maintain a consistent supervisory presence in the milieu by providing coaching, mentoring, training, and support to staff while promoting therapeutic interactions with youth. Respond to crises and operational needs by coordinating emergency responses, staffing adjustments, and serving as the shift leader during critical incidents. Ensure compliance with program policies, safety protocols, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Risking Connection (RICH), documentation requirements, and regulatory standards. Conduct routine walkthroughs to monitor environmental safety, staff performance, client supervision, program schedules, and the overall quality of care. Oversee completion of required client care activities, including safety checks, nursing documentation, hygiene routines, phone calls, and client debriefings. Complete end-of-shift responsibilities, including staff debriefing, parent notifications, client observation reports, incident follow-up, and program readiness for the next shift. Promote a safe, organized, and therapeutic environment by maintaining common areas, ensuring adequate supplies, and supporting positive youth and staff interactions. Experience and Skills:
Qualifications and Skills High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Experience in human services or working with children with special needs preferred
  • Knowledge of child development and the impact of trauma, abuse, and neglect
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Ability to remain calm, manage stress, and respond safely in crisis or emergency situations Physically able to supervise children and perform job duties, including physical interventions (holds) when necessary (with or without reasonable accommodation) Required Certifications (or willingness to obtain) Medication Administration Certification
