Our Services for People with Disabilities team is searching for a dedicated, energetic caregiver to work full-time as a Shift Lead in Harmony House in Muscatine. What We Do As one of Iowa's most trusted human services agencies, LSI has a legacy of serving children, adults, and families for more than 160 years. Our Services for People with Disabilities wrap care around individuals across the state, from providing occasional respite care or weekly services, to 24/7 support in either a shared apartment environment or one-on-one care through our hourly supported community living (SCL) program. You can make a direct impact on the lives of the Iowans we are privileged to serve. What You'll Do The Shift Lead is specific to Harmony House and will be responsible for the oversight of services provided during designated/scheduled shift. Will work directly with clients to provide support, assistance, and instruction in areas that facilitate personal growth and independence. Serve as a ready source and partner with staff working at Harmony House; respond to questions, including but not limited to, programming, documentation, trainings, scheduling, employment, etc. In addition, Shift Leads will support program leadership in interviewing candidates for employment, facilitating shift meetings, communicating directly with case managers and completing required documentation and reports. Position may require long hours, including some evenings and weekends to ensure the safety and satisfaction of individuals served. This position will be included in an on-call rotation in order to provide appropriate program oversight. What You'll Need Qualified candidates for this job must have one of the following: A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, or another human services-related field. An Associate's degree in Human Services, Education, or another human services-related field, with two years of human services-related experience. A high school diploma or a GED, with four years of human services-related experience.
