Part Time Managers Job Description:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the restaurant and is accountable for ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The General Manager will oversee staff, supervise employees and ensure the operation of the restaurant is running smoothly.

Core Functions:

Manage and delegate responsibilities to subordinates. Supervise employees and provide guidance and direction. Maintain sanitation and safety standards. Train new employees on the proper use of equipment and food service procedures. Work with all staff to provide quality food in a timely manner. Enforce all policies and procedures outlined by the company.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a manager, supervisor or similar role in restaurant industry preferred but not required. Leadership ability is desired. Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand for long periods of time and perform routine tasks such as opening, closing doors, serving food, cleaning etc. Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be 18 years old or older.
