Overview Join our dynamic team as the Taproom Manager of Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co., where you will lead a dedicated team that values our "farm-to-glass" mantra. This role is perfect for a passionate hospitality professional eager to showcase their management skills, knowledge of beer & spirits, and customer service expertise. As one of the faces of our brand, you'll create memorable visits by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional service standards. Your energetic leadership will foster a welcoming atmosphere that highlights our commitment to quality and hospitality excellence. About Us At Lone Oak Brewing, we deliver true farm-to-glass products & experiences. We believe that beer is more than just a beverage - it is a celebration of history, community, agriculture, and the natural world. In addition to brewing the best beers in Montgomery County (and beyond), we host over 400 private events each year. From birthday parties to baptisms; from weddings to high school reunions; we do it all. And if phenomenal beer & private events aren't enough, we even feature a cocktail bar at the brewery. Lone Oak offers something for everyone! Duties Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Lead, train, and develop staff in beer presentation, food safety, and excellent customer service. Focus on responsible alcohol service by continually educating staff about not over-serving guests and ensuring that only those of legal age are consuming our spirits. Oversee inventory control, including product stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs. Manage POS systems for accurate cash handling, sales processing, and educated forecasting. Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure proper food handling, presentation, and quality standards are maintained. Implement shift management routines, including scheduling staff and supervising & evaluating team performance. Uphold health and safety regulations by enforcing food safety standards and proper sanitation practices. Enhance guest experience through personalized service, engaging tastings, and educational tours about our products. Work with event coordinators & directors for private parties, offsite tastings, and membership functions to promote brand awareness. Ensure a welcoming & collaborative work environment among staff, management, & ownership. Requirements Proven management experience in a fast-paced food service or brewery/distillery environment Familiarity with POS systems including Toast POS or Square POS for efficient transaction processing. Demonstrates skills in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles; ability to lead teams effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience with staff training & development to foster team growth and operational excellence. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
