Crisis Clean Team is a woman-owned company serving communities across Minnesota by helping people reclaim their spaces during overwhelming life moments. Our work often supports individuals facing hoarding, extreme clutter, long-neglected environments, and other complex circumstances where compassion matters just as much as the work itself. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Shift Supervisor who can lead our field teams through these projects with confidence, kindness, and an incredibly high standard for the finished result. This is not a supervisor role where you stand back and direct the work. You'll be working alongside your team while also keeping the entire job moving, supporting the client, and making sure every member of the team knows what success looks like for the day. Most shifts take place Monday through Friday during traditional daytime hours. What You'll Do Lead a team of technicians onsite and provide clear direction throughout the workday Review the project scope and turn it into an organized, efficient plan for the team Assign responsibilities based on team strengths, project priorities, and client needs Work hands-on alongside the team in deep cleaning, decluttering, organizing, disposal, and space restoration Set the pace for the day while maintaining a calm, positive, and respectful environment Communicate directly with clients, including individuals who may be overwhelmed, anxious, hesitant, or emotionally attached to their belongings Help clients work through difficult decisions with patience, kindness, and appropriate boundaries Recognize when an approach isn't working and confidently adjust the plan Monitor quality throughout the project rather than waiting until the end of the day to identify issues Ensure completed spaces meet company standards Communicate project progress, concerns, changes in conditions, and additional needs to management Keep the team productive, supported, and focused, even when working in challenging environments Take ownership of the jobsite from arrival through completion This Role Is a Great Fit If You... Have previous supervisory, team lead, or field leadership experience Preferably have leadership experience in cleaning, restoration, biohazard, remediation, healthcare, caregiving, or another hands-on service environment Are comfortable being responsible for both people and outcomes Have strong emotional intelligence and can communicate well with many different personalities Can give clear direction and hold people accountable without creating unnecessary tension Notice details other people miss and take pride in leaving a space exceptionally well finished Can make good decisions independently when conditions change in the field Are comfortable working in homes that may have significant clutter, odors, sanitation concerns, or years of accumulated belongings Are physically comfortable working alongside the team, including lifting 40+ lbs., standing, bending, carrying, and remaining active throughout the workday Are dependable, organized, level-headed, and able to keep a team moving Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Must successfully pass a background check Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required Experience supervising teams in a similar field is strongly preferred Must be available during weekday daytime hours Previous experience in a hands-on leadership or high-accountability role is strongly preferred, including backgrounds such as housekeeping supervisor, environmental services (EVS) supervisor, restoration or remediation lead, biohazard team lead, EMT, paramedic, CNA lead, healthcare team lead, hospice or home-care supervisor, PCA supervisor, residential services lead or similar field-based leadership roles. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on leadership and relevant industry experience Mostly local work throughout Minneapolis-St. Paul and surrounding communities Optional travel opportunities with expenses covered A hands-on leadership role where your decisions and leadership genuinely matter Supportive, woman-led team culture rooted in compassion, accountability, and mutual respect Training in the specialized work we perform Opportunities to grow The Kind of Leader We're Looking For Our best supervisors don't just make sure the work gets done. They notice when a technician needs direction before they have to ask. They recognize when a client needs a little more patience. They know when the team needs to pick up the pace and when slowing down will actually get us further. Most importantly, they take ownership.
