Job Description

Position Overview The Resort Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of multiple food and beverage outlets throughout the resort based on business needs. This position provides hands-on leadership to hourly associates while ensuring consistent guest service, operational standards, and efficient execution across assigned outlets.

This role is a key position in our operational excellence delivery goals. The role may advance into a supervisor level position should the incumbent demonstrate sufficient strategic development and enlargement of performance scope. The successful person will be an advocate of our mission, values, and brand from an F&B level. Duties & Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Provide daily operational supervision and hands-on leadership across multiple resort food and beverage outlets based on business and staffing needs. Support restaurant, bar, casual dining and other F&B operations as assigned. Lead, direct, and support hourly Food & Beverage associates during assigned shifts. Ensure associates are prepared for service and understand daily expectations, assignments, reservations, events, specials, and other relevant information. Assign opening, closing, side-work, and daily operational responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed according to established standards. Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout service periods, particularly during peak business volumes. Monitor service flow, staffing levels, and guest needs and make adjustments as necessary to support efficient operations. Work collaboratively with Food & Beverage and Culinary leadership to ensure consistent communication and execution between front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Support staffing decisions and assist with weekly schedules based on forecasted business levels, events, labor needs, and budget expectations. Help ensure associates follow established service standards, policies, procedures, safety requirements, and responsible alcohol service practices. Promote a strong commitment to exceptional guest service and ensure guests receive a welcoming, professional, and enjoyable dining experience regardless of outlet. Proactively interact with guests, respond to questions or concerns, and assist with service recovery when necessary. Assist with reservations, seating, serving, bussing, food running, bartending, or other operational responsibilities when necessary to support the team. Monitor cleanliness, organization, presentation, and overall readiness of assigned outlets. Regularly inspect and maintain F&B equipment and communicate maintenance or replacement needs to management. Communicate effectively with other resort departments to coordinate guest requests, events, groups, and operational needs. Help create a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment across all Food & Beverage outlets. Demonstrate flexibility in moving between outlets, shifts, and responsibilities based on resort business needs. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Food & Beverage leadership. Job Requirements Previous food and beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and provide direction to associates in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Ability to oversee operations across multiple outlets and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs. Strong guest-service skills with the ability to professionally resolve concerns and support service recovery. Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with Food & Beverage leadership, Culinary teams, and other resort departments. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and meet established deadlines. Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during high-volume service periods. Must be flexible and available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on resort business needs. Must be at least 18 years of age due to responsibilities that may include the handling and/or service of alcoholic beverages. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including approximately 6-7 hours at a time. Ability to frequently bend, reach, and climb stairs throughout the workday. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. #GVL
