Sora Sushi & Bar and Iza Whiskey and Eats. Sora is a modern sushi and cocktail bar focused on fresh seafood and high-energy service. Iza is a Japanese-fusion small plates concept with a strong whiskey program featuring 150+ bottles. We're a fast-paced, team-driven environment that values consistency, strong hospitality, and growth. This role may work across both concepts, offering variety and opportunities to develop leadership skills.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Front of House Supervisor / Shift Lead to help oversee daily restaurant operations and support our service team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience who is ready to step into a leadership position while still being hands-on during service. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards, supporting staff, and ensuring guests have a great experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support front-of-house staff during shifts Ensure smooth and efficient service flow Assist with opening and closing procedures Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly Maintain cleanliness, organization, and service standards Communicate with ownership about shift performance and any issues Help train and onboard new team members Step into service roles as needed (hosting, running food, etc.)

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant experience required (leadership experience preferred) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Availability to work evenings and weekends Dependable and punctual

Schedule:

Evening shifts (typical start around 4:00 PM, service begins at 5:00 PM) Weekend availability required 3-6 shifts per week depending on availability
