Adventure Guide Supervisor Lead the Fun. Build the Team. Make Every Day an Adventure. Are you a natural leader who loves dogs, enjoys being active, and takes pride in creating an amazing experience for both pets and their people? As an Adventure Guide Supervisor , you'll be at the heart of the action! You'll lead our Adventure Guides, oversee play, enrichment, and bathing, and make sure every pet has a safe, happy, and tail-wagging day. This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are exactly alike. You'll coach your team, organize the play yard, monitor pet behavior, solve problems, and help create an environment where pets can have fun while receiving the highest level of care. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference every day —for the pets you care for, the team you lead, and the pet parents who trust us with their family members. What You'll Do Lead the Adventure Oversee daily daycare, enrichment, and bathing operations to keep everything running smoothly Assign daily responsibilities and make sure your team has the coverage and support they need Keep playgroups organized, balanced, and safe Supervise group and one-on-one play while watching closely for changes in behavior or energy levels Make sure every pet receives the attention, enrichment, and care they need Be a Coach and Team Leader Train and welcome new Adventure Guides to the team Coach team members and help them build confidence and animal-handling skills Lead by example and create a positive, energetic team environment Recognize great performance and provide helpful feedback when improvements are needed Work with the General Manager on staffing, scheduling, and team development Step up as Manager on Duty when senior leadership is away Keep Pets Safe, Happy & Healthy Monitor pets throughout the day and recognize behavioral or physical changes Administer medications according to care instructions Maintain accurate pet care documentation Follow all animal care, safety, sanitation, and workplace standards Help create structured playgroups based on size, temperament, energy level, and behavior Communicate concerns quickly and professionally with leadership and pet parents when appropriate Create Amazing Experiences Partner with Guest Services to coordinate check-ins, enrichment activities, special care, and add-on services Help create fun enrichment activities that keep pets engaged and mentally stimulated Keep enrichment supplies, treats, and cleaning supplies stocked and organized Look for ways to make each pet's day a little more special Help ensure pet parents feel confident knowing their pets are safe, loved, and having a great time What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can lead with confidence while still having fun .
You should be:
Experienced in pet care, animal handling, daycare, boarding, or a similar environment A natural leader who enjoys coaching and developing others Knowledgeable about canine body language and group play Confident making decisions in a busy, fast-moving environment Comfortable holding team members accountable while maintaining a positive culture Organized and able to juggle changing priorities Comfortable administering medications and maintaining accurate records A strong communicator with both team members and pet parents Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and handling dogs up to 100 lbs on leash Available to work weekends and holidays as needed Passionate about animals and committed to providing exceptional care Why You'll Love This Role This isn't a job where you'll sit behind a desk all day. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
