Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and team management. Manage food preparation standards, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish served. Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Control inventory levels, monitor food safety practices, and minimize waste through proper stock management. Conduct staff interviews, facilitate onboarding, and support ongoing training & development initiatives. Analyze profit and loss reports to optimize profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food service management, including quick service & fast food restaurant experience or fine dining background. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams across various roles such as GM or assistant manager. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards. Ability to perform basic math for budgeting and inventory control purposes. Effective communication skills for managerial tasks like interviewing, staff training, and customer service. Broad understanding of the food industry including catering, banquet events, bar service, and hotel hospitality.
