Main Street. This position at our fast-paced sandwich shop includes a mix of sandwich line, prep, and opening/closing responsibilities depending on the shift. You'll work alongside a small team to prepare fresh ingredients, make sandwiches efficiently, and keep the kitchen ready for service. Market On Main is a new and growing small business, thus making a rewarding and exciting job with expanding learning experiences and room for growth.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients according to established recipes and standards. Prepare menu items efficiently while maintaining high-quality food safety practices. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Slicing and portioning meats, cheeses, vegetables, and other ingredients. Keeping up with orders during busy lunch and takeout rushes while collaborating with other staff to ensure swift and efficient service. Washing dishes and assisting with general kitchen cleaning as needed. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.

Qualifications Include:

Age minimum of 18. 2 years previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Possession of culinary and kitchen operational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and expand culinary knowledge . Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and schedules as needed within the kitchen setting.
