Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Travel Agent specializing in Group Bookings to join our vibrant travel team. We are a tour company that caters to the 65+ demographic. We have been in business for 46 years and create escorted group travel experiences that are above the rest. We are a friendly, hard working group of people making travel dreams come true. This is more than just a business, it's a giant family. Duties Manage multiple reservations simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications. Communicate proactively with clients throughout the planning process, providing updates and resolving any issues promptly. Research and book air for domestic and international groups - handle air deviators and upgrades Manage air contracts, issue tickets, stay on top of schedule changes and due dates Physically be at most airport departures (there is an extra stipend for this work). Maintain detailed records of all reservations, client interactions, and travel documentation for seamless follow-up. Qualifications Proven experience in the travel industry, particularly with group bookings and travel scheduling. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client communication and satisfaction. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines. Problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills People skills are critical - our clients are mature travelers Telephones as demand requires Multi-tasking - ours is a small office and everyone has to help everyone at some point Ability to work under pressure, ability to have a good time while working (we like to have fun on occasion) Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and solve problems proactively in a fast-paced setting.
