161 Johnson St. Somerset, MA 02726 As our Tour Department Coordinator, you will be the essential operational backbone of Fisher Motorcoach Tours. You'll handle everything from day-to-day client interactions to the creative design and seamless execution of our motorcoach tours, ensuring every trip runs smoothly and exceeds our passengers' expectations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will directly contribute to memorable travel experiences for our guests throughout New England and beyond. What You'll Do Answer and manage incoming calls from clients, vendors, and tour guides while warmly assisting walk-in customers at our Somerset office. Book passengers into the Rezgo system, collect payments (credit card, cash, and check), and maintain accurate records. Design new tour itineraries, research exciting destinations, and develop fresh tour offerings. Build all tours in the Rezgo system and coordinate bookings with hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other vendors. Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and manage all vendor payments. Prepare comprehensive tour materials, including tour guide packets, passenger envelopes with itineraries and tip envelopes, meal tickets, and printed tour descriptions. Create and maintain tour guide lists for all departure dates and send complete tour information to the charter department. Design annual brochures and promotional materials to showcase our tours. Support overall tour operations with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. What You'll Bring • Strong previous job experience in travel coordination, tour operations, hospitality, or a similar administrative role is required. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple tours and deadlines simultaneously. Strong customer service and communication abilities, with a friendly, professional phone and in-person presence. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Rezgo or similar booking/CRM systems is a plus. Creativity and research skills to develop new tour ideas and destination options. A detail-oriented mindset, problem-solving ability, and composure under pressure. Genuine enthusiasm for travel, motorcoach tours, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Reliability and a team-player attitude in a small, collaborative office environment.
