This role is designed for a luxury professional with a deep understanding of watch collecting, strong familiarity with independent watchmaking, and the ability to operate at the highest level of the global collector market. We work with some of the most important watch collectors in the world, and this position requires someone who can confidently communicate with sophisticated clients, understand complex collecting strategies, and provide thoughtful, detail-oriented guidance. The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, and capable of building trusted long-term relationships. This is not a traditional retail role. The Watch Collection Curator will operate in a highly dynamic environment, focused on relationship-building, sourcing opportunities, and developing new business through networking, outreach, and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage relationships with high-net-worth collectors and serious watch enthusiasts Actively develop new business through networking, referrals, and direct outreach Bring an existing book of clients and continuously expand your network Identify and pursue new collectors, sellers, and opportunities within the luxury ecosystem Attend local events, industry gatherings, and social functions to generate leads and strengthen relationships Source exceptional timepieces aligned with client demand and market opportunities Advise collectors on acquisitions, disposals, rarity, market positioning, and collecting strategy Represent The Second Hand Club with professionalism, discretion, and expertise Maintain strong knowledge of independent watchmaking, rare references, and market trends Be hands-on and proactive in client communication, deal follow-ups, and opportunity development Participate in content creation for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok as part of brand growth Be comfortable on camera and active on social media to build credibility and visibility Deliver a highly personalized and detail-oriented client experience Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in the luxury industry Deep understanding of watch collecting and independent watchmaking Strong familiarity with major brands and niche independent makers Existing collector network or book of business strongly preferred Impeccable verbal and written communication Extremely detail-oriented and thorough High level of professionalism and discretion Ability to confidently communicate with serious collectors Proactive mindset with strong networking ability Comfortable attending events and building relationships in person Active on social media and comfortable appearing on camera Based in South Florida (Miami or Palm Beach) or USA.
