POSITION SUMMARY
The Tour Guide provides exceptional guest service and frontline support for guests participating on the tours. This position plays a key role in ensuring guest safety, delivering an engaging and informative experience, and supporting daily site operations. As an ambassador of Hawaiʻi and Ko'olau Distillery, the Tour Guide helps foster a welcoming and memorable experience while upholding the company's mission and values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage guests and provide outstanding customer service throughout their tour. Conduct safe and informative guided tours of the distillery, including basic history and knowledge of the operations. Set up, break down, clean, and maintain glassware, product and display areas as needed. Communicate clearly with guests and team members to support efficient operations. Promote a positive image of Ko'olau Distillery in all guest interactions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21+ years old. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to guest service. Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude under varying conditions. Being bilingual in Japanese is helpful, not required. Reliable transportation to be able to get to the distillery.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Comfortable working indoors in a non temperature controlled warehouse. Closed toed shoed are required at all times, Exclusively walking, standing, and moving in the warehouse. Manual labor including tour setup, relocating wheeled bottling line, and space clean-up duties. Ko'olau Distillery is a proud equal opportunity employer and maintains a safe drug-free workplace.
