As tour guide it is important that you are a good communicator, educator, personable, able to tell stories, and entertain guests. As a tractor driver you will be pulling a trailer with 20-30 guests, safe driving and attention to detail are imperative. • Main Responsibilities Work with management to organize and carry out tractor rides and tours of our Orchard & Farm. Ensure the safety of our guests, especially that the tractor is always operated safely. Ensure that the tractor and trailer are in good condition before and after tractor rides. Consistently provide outstanding service to all guests.
Take care to represent the Wilson's brand well in your interactions with guests. Work with management to organize and execute regular tractor and trailer preventative maintenance. Keep the tractor, trailer, and surrounding areas of the farm clean. •Other Responsibilities Work with other teams in the company as needed; when not giving rides or tours you may be asked to work in the Market, Smokehouse, or Orchard & Farm. Candidate Requirements Experience driving tractors or manual vehicles with trailers. Highly competent, safe driver with valid driver's license with excellent safety record. Hard worker. On-time, good time management. Positive, problem solving attitude. Respectful to all coworkers and customers. Ability to perform basic maintenance on the tractor, trailer, and other farm equipment. Preferred Skills Strong mechanical abilities. Experience driving manual vehicles with trailers in hilly and rough terrain. •
