Job Summary Join our vibrant Kings Way Golf Course team as a Golf Course Starter/Ranger, where you will be the friendly face welcoming guests and ensuring smooth, safe, well-paced, and enjoyable play for all. In this role, you will manage tee times, coordinate player flow, and uphold safety protocols while providing exceptional guest services. Days and Hours We are looking for dedicated ranger coverage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, for 8 hours a day from the last week of June until Labor Day. Applicants do not need to be able to work all three shifts, even one or two is fine. After Labor Day, the role will transition to a combined starter/ranger position until the course closes at the end of November. Duties Greet and direct players to their starting holes, ensuring timely tee-offs and optimal course utilization Manage player flow and pace of play by coordinating tee times and resolving scheduling conflicts efficiently Enforce safety protocols, including course rules and etiquette, to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, offering directions, and resolving minor conflicts with professionalism Qualifications Previous experience as a starter or ranger is valuable but not required Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively Certified in first aid and CPR is valuable but not required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic but firm demeanor Benefits Play Kings Way Golf Course for free Flexible hours and days Fully outdoors role
