We are looking for patient, friendly, and team-oriented individuals to join our world class team. No experience in the outdoor industry? No problem. Our Welcome Center staff training will provide you with the skills and techniques necessary to provide the finest experience for each guest. Job Overview Front Desk Receptionists are responsible for taking online and over-the-phone bookings, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining tour schedules using an online reservation system. They greet customers, check in individuals and groups, assist with retail sales, and prepare individuals and groups for their tour. This position is great for people who love challenges, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy engaging with people. While we are open year round, this position is part time during the fall and winter season with the opportunity to work full time in the spring and summer. More hours are available through cross training as an Adventure Guide. Duties and Responsibilities

Establish a warm and friendly relationship with guests in person, on the phone, or via email
Manage reservations through an online reservation system
Be knowledgeable of all aspects of the tour to assist customers in booking tours and properly answer customer inquiries
Assist with retail sales including the management of cash, credit cards, POS system, inventory, and restocking
Help prepare guests for their tour by ensuring all guests meet participant requirements and tactfully handle situations where guests do not meet requirements
Solve problems that arise with logistics, tour coordination, large group booking, rescheduling, and customer service issues.
Assist with facility upkeep and maintenance including cleaning and organizing
Work as a team with other Front Desk Receptionists
Effectively communicate with the management team
Plan, coordinate, and carry out special events
Other duties as assigned Requirements
Ability to establish warm and friendly relationships with guests
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills and previous cash register/POS experience
Maintain professional appearance at all times and represent the company in a positive way
The ability to work well under stress and pressure
Applicants with experience in customer service, sales, and/or reservations will be given priority
Ability to stand and be active for 8 hours a day
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
Have, or be willing to obtain, alcohol servers certification Schedule and Hours
Must be able to work 3-5 days per week including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Schedule varies and is dependent on weather and guest attendance; schedule subject to change through the seasons
Shifts may begin as early as 8am and may end as late as 9pm

Alcohol and Drug Testing:

Employees may not arrive on duty under the influence of alcohol or drugs. As this position is a safety sensitive position, employees may be subject to random alcohol and drug testing.
