Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server in a restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain a positive attitude will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success. Duties Greet and welcome guests promptly upon their arrival. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Process payments using cash registers or POS systems efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Uphold the restaurant's standards for customer service, hospitality, and teamwork. Experience Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers, basic math skills for handling transactions, and knowledge of POS systems is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing time efficiently during busy service periods. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
