Position Overview Arnie's Rooftop Bar is a coastal-inspired, design-forward venue built around warm hospitality and beautifully crafted cocktails. Our servers play a vital role in delivering a seamless, elevated, and memorable guest experience. We're looking for friendly, engaging, service-driven individuals who genuinely enjoy connecting with guests, guiding them through the menu, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ideal candidates are energetic, detail-focused, and passionate about creating a warm, genuine rooftop experience that leaves guests feeling welcomed, cared for, and excited to return. . Key Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly, setting the tone for an elevated experience Guide guests through the menu with confidence and genuine enthusiasm Accurately take orders, enter them into the POS, and deliver items efficiently Coordinate with bartenders and barbacks to ensure smooth and timely service flow Maintain table cleanliness, organization, and readiness throughout service Communicate clearly with hosts and management to support balanced pacing and floor flow Adhere to all service standards, safety guidelines, and operational policies Handle payment transactions accurately and responsibly Support overall front-of-house operations during peak times or special events Guest Experience Create a warm, welcoming, polished experience consistent with a premium rooftop venue Build rapport with guests, anticipate needs, and provide thoughtful, attentive hospitality Make menu recommendations that reflect Arnie's style and highlight signature cocktails and seasonal offerings Address guest concerns or special requests with professionalism, patience, and diplomacy Contribute to an atmosphere that feels friendly, elevated, and genuinely cared for Qualifications 1+ year of host or guest services experience in a high-volume venue preferred Excellent communication skills and a naturally friendly, welcoming demeanor Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional during busy shifts and stressful moments Must be able to stand for long periods; ability to lift up to 20 lbs Valid food handler certification required; RBS certification preferred but not required
