Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, with attention to presentation and guest preferences Upsell menu items, wine pairings, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, tables, and service stations according to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or hospitality settings Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Demonstrated ability in upselling and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling procedures Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required; a passion for food industry trends is valued Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in delivering exceptional guest experiences through lively service, genuine hospitality, and a dedication to excellence.
