Food Service Server

REPORTS TO

Director of Food Services SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Food Nutrition Services team as a part-time Food Server. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional service to our clients by assisting in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met while contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with established guidelines and menus. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area and dining space. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage food service operations during peak hours. Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development as required. Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for special events or activities. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
