Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change. Prepare food items by scooping ice cream, adding toppings, and maintaining food safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all food handling and sanitation protocols are followed diligently. Upsell additional products or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Manage customer orders with precision, ensuring quick service during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards to maintain a clean work environment. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to communicate clearly with guests. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting comfortably.
