Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process transactions efficiently, handling cash and credit card payments accurately while balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions about menu items, dietary needs, or beverage options with knowledge of wine, spirits, and food industry trends. Requirements Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Good math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Ability to provide friendly guest relations while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Basic food handling knowledge along with understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations.
