The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise. Support bussing duties to clear tables and reset for new guests. Adhere to food handling safety standards and regulations at all times. Assist with banquet services as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met during events. Skills Proficient in food handling practices and safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is preferred. Previous experience in culinary or restaurant settings is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food service operations, including banquet setups and bussing techniques. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
