GED Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings. Smiles, provides exceptional customer service, and always treats guests and coworkers with respect. Serves guest food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks efficiently and accurately based on guest requests. Ensure guest is 21 or older before serving alcoholic beverages by accurately checking guest ID. Knowledgeable in the products the company serves. Understands salesmanship and customer service is what makes this position successful for the company and the team member. Properly operates the point of sales system and accounts for all service items by ringing them into the system and keeping a balanced bank. Follow company procedures to ensure accurate payment is obtained by guest. Effectively communicate with front of house and back of house team members. Follows the company's attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook. Ability to uphold great communication with guest, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations. Sets and keeps restaurant/bar workstations and the surrounding areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized. Knows and complies with all rules, regulations and policies of the food and beverage department. Serves food/drink, greets and seats guests, busses, and runs food/drink, does side work, plus any other normal functions required to service our guests under normal operating conditions. Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leaders. Must abide by all state and local liquor laws and health department rules/regulations. Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party. Ensure customer service standard steps are met and retained. Other duties as assigned. Work Environment & Physical Demands The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoor under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates

Occasional:
kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds Speech and Vision abilities are required
Target Salary Range:
$9.60 per hour
Qualifications:
1 year Server experience in a fast-paced environment, required Food Handler Certification, required High School Diploma/GED, required Must be 21 years of age or older Must have basic mathematical skills Hep A vaccination on, or before, first day of work Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written Education Required High School or better
