In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating our mobile ice truck, serving up tasty shaved ice creations, and providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable experiences for customers of all ages while ensuring smooth operations at every stop. This position offers a dynamic work environment filled with opportunities to engage with the community, showcase your food service skills, and develop your sales and customer interaction abilities. Duties Safely operate the Kona Ice truck, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations during routes and stops Prepare and serve shaved ice treats, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are maintained Manage customer orders efficiently using POS systems , processing cash and card transactions accurately Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, upselling additional toppings or combo options to enhance sales Maintain a clean and organized workspace inside the truck, including food handling areas and equipment sanitation Restock supplies as needed, including cups, straws, napkins, and ingredients to ensure smooth service throughout shifts Follow food safety management practices, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and adherence to health regulations Skills Strong time management skills to handle multiple stops efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service Ability to upsell products confidently through engaging communication and product knowledge Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing change Previous quick service or fast food restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for serving others is essential Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment Embark on an exciting journey where every day is different!
