Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our high-end steakhouse located in Aurora, IN. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional hospitality while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and fellow team members. You must have at least 2 years of fine dining restaurant experience to qualify for an interview. Duties Greet guests warmly and promptly. Operate our POS system for processing transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the front and back of house areas. Assist with food and beverage preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation. Provide knowledgeable recommendations for guests regarding menu items. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations. Requirements Previous experience in the hospitality industry is mandatory. Strong guest service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Familiarity with sanitation practices in food service settings is a plus. Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast, is advantageous but not mandatory.
