Responsibilities Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a tidy dining area at all times. Assist with bussing tables, resetting them with clean linens, silverware, and glassware for incoming guests. Support servers by delivering food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Help with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, tables, or equipment using safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including floors, countertops, and storage spaces through regular sanitation and cleaning routines. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to sanitation, food safety, and manual handling to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to interact clearly with team members and guests. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and proper lifting techniques. Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety practices, and proper table setting procedures. Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Willingness to learn about food handling procedures, catering support, and restaurant operations.
