Bay Hills Golf Club & The Overlook Bar & Grille Bay Hills Golf Club and The Overlook Bar & Grille are seeking dependable, friendly, and service-oriented team members to work as servers, bartenders, and beverage cart attendants. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and providing an excellent experience for golfers, restaurant guests, tournament participants, and private-event attendees.
Position Responsibilities:
Server Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service. Take food and beverage orders accurately. Enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments. Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner. Monitor tables and respond to guest needs throughout their visit. Maintain clean and organized dining, bar, deck, and service areas. Assist with setup, service, and cleanup for tournaments and private events. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service procedures. Bartender Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages. Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service policies. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and properly process transactions. Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized. Monitor inventory and communicate product needs to management. Provide prompt and professional service to bar and restaurant guests. Assist with opening and closing duties. Support special events, golf tournaments, and high-volume service periods. Beverage Cart Attendant Operate the beverage cart safely throughout the golf course. Sell beer, mixed drinks, nonalcoholic beverages, snacks, and food items. Provide friendly and efficient service to golfers. Verify identification before serving alcoholic beverages. Maintain accurate cash and credit-card transactions. Keep the cart clean, stocked, and organized. Monitor inventory and restock products as needed. Follow designated cart routes and remain aware of golfers and course activity. Assist with tournament beverage service and special-event needs. General Expectations Deliver professional and welcoming customer service at all times. Work cooperatively with the golf, restaurant, kitchen, and management teams. Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work. Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Follow Bay Hills Golf Club and The Overlook policies and procedures. Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors. Remain productive during slower periods by cleaning, stocking, and preparing for service. Be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Previous restaurant, bar, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred/Not Required. Bartenders and beverage cart attendants must meet all legal age requirements for serving alcohol. Must be able to provide responsible alcohol service and properly check identification. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to carry trays, beverage cases, ice, and supplies. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate a beverage cart after receiving proper training. Employment Type Part-time and seasonal positions are available.
