Job Summary Marathon Deli & Grill is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Breakfast Server to join our team. As the first point of contact for our morning guests, you will help create a welcoming dining experience by providing excellent customer service, keeping the restaurant clean and organized, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide prompt, attentive service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver meals in a timely manner. Ensure guests have everything they need throughout their visit. Maintain a clean and organized dining room by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables. Assist with opening duties, including preparing the dining area, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant is ready for service. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Process guest payments accurately using the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system. Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members to provide efficient service. Answer guest questions about menu items and daily breakfast specials. Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and positive atmosphere for guests and coworkers. Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Basic math and cash-handling skills are a plus. Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a clean, professional restaurant.
