Company Overview Up North Lodge is a full-service casual dining restaurant nestled in the woods just outside of Gwinn. We offer a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying our "almost world famous" BBQ Ribs and a custom bar featuring 20 draft beer taps. Our focus is on providing memorable dining experiences in a welcoming, friendly environment. Job Summary We're looking for a friendly and energetic Full Time Server to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional service to guests while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. If you enjoy working in a lively environment and love making guests feel at home, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, with attention to presentation and guest satisfaction Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or special dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, ensuring smooth restaurant operations Experience Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Experience with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales while providing excellent guest relations Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately Join us as a Full Time Server where your enthusiasm for hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests while advancing your career in the vibrant food industry!
