Greet customers Take customers' food and drink orders Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner Suggest appetizers, wines, and meals to customers based on the menu and specials Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties Must be able to work on your feet all day Strong customer service skills required Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus Must always be neat in appearance Answer questions regarding the menu Offer suggestions and recommendations in regards to orders and drinks Help to personalize the meal Clean tables and dining area Ability to demonstrate habits of greeting both new and old customers Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company's guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department Responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes and procedures Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times Arrange glasses and bottles to maintain an attractive display in agreement with bar standards Sterilize and wash stemware when necessary Reach out to guests and offer assistance to them before they request for it' '
