Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, with a focus on presentation and guest preferences Upsell menu items and beverage options to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement Process cash and credit card payments accurately, handle cash handling responsibilities, and issue receipts or change as needed Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables in a fast-paced environment Requirements Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; understanding of sanitation standards is essential Experience with food handling, serving, bussing, and general hospitality practices Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Join us as a Server where your energy fuels memorable experiences!
