Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process sales transactions efficiently. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine pairings, and cocktail recipes to provide expert recommendations. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing guest checks with professionalism. Support sanitation and food handling protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques to elevate the guest experience. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic environment that values hospitality excellence.
