Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team at Riverbend Grill. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering guest loyalty. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating arrangements to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, Toast Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling additional menu items Maintain sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff during busy periods Build rapport with guests through excellent customer service, addressing special requests and resolving any concerns promptly Skills Proven experience in food service Knowledge of POS systems is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction Exceptional guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and personalized service Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling technique Knowledge of food industry trends such as cocktail trends or fine dining etiquette enhances guest interactions Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
