Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and energetic Food Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with a knack for creating memorable moments for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements as needed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards. Upsell menu items such as specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest experience. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, and menu options to guests seeking guidance. Requirements Previous food service or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation is desirable.
