Job Overview:

As a Banquet Server at Star Hospitality, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our clients and guests. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will contribute to the success of various banquet events hosted by our prestigious clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Serve guests efficiently and courteously during banquet events, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in setting up banquet rooms as per event requirements, including table settings, decorations, and buffet arrangements.
• Clear tables promptly and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment throughout the event.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Adhere to food safety standards and protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Support bartending activities as needed, including preparing and serving beverages.
• Handle coffee service, bussing, food handling, and food preparation tasks during events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of banquet procedures, food industry standards, and culinary practices.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in banquet service or related hospitality roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices within the food industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of bartending techniques and culinary skills is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts based on event schedules. This position offers
• Flexible scheduling and variable hours . Work as little or as much as you like.
• Consistent scheduling at the same venues and locations
• Weekly pay cycle through direct deposit. We pay every week on Fridays.
• Upward mobility. Start as a server or utility worker and move up the latter quickly.
• Cash tips, although not guaranteed are rather common on events.
• Exciting and exotic locations and events make for an enjoyable experience while working.
