Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Servers/Bussers/Hosts to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the food service industry. As a member of our tesm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Utilize POS system for order entry and payment processing efficiently. Upsell menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas in accordance with health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring all issues are resolved effectively. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide accurate information to guests. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service. Requirements Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately. Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. POS experience is a plus but can be taught on the job.
