Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and processing sales transactions Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge, spirits experience, and food safety standards Ensure proper sanitation and food handling practices are followed at all times in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders while managing multiple tables effectively Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Assist with opening or closing duties as needed to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across multiple tables Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink service standards Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling sales transactions efficiently Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork and guest engagement Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a full-time capacity Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
