Job Description
Looking for servers at the Heritage Diner. Do not call just come down after 3pm (except mondays) and ask for Augy the manager Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using OpenTable or similar systems, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing guest relations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Stay informed about menu changes, daily specials, and culinary offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations. Experience Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous. Strong math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to create memorable dining experiences. A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of fine dining etiquette is a plus.
