Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent service and a welcoming attitude. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering top-notch customer service in a lively environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to enhance their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and beverage service. Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails to maximize sales opportunities. Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation or bar tending duties when needed, supporting the team during busy hours. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during high-volume periods. Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions confidently.
