Clubhouse Server Columbia Hills Golf and Swim is a privately owned club with golf, dining/events/weddings and swim facilities in Columbia Station, OH. Columbia Hills is seeking servers to join their current team to create a positive memorable experience to our members and guests. The ideal candidate does not have to have previous serving experience, but must be someone who is willing to learn, follow directions, works well with others, ambitious, hardworking, and can be on their feet for 6+ hours at a time.

• Prior server experience preferred but not required
• Must be of age to serve/make alcoholic beverages.

SHIFTS/HOURS

Hours of position(s) will vary depending on the club's business needs. Must be available nights, weekends and Holidays.

• Servers will be paid above a tipped wage with guaranteed gratuity along with the potential to earn additional tips.

The successful candidate will work alongside with active and knowledgeable managers that are willing and excited to help during your shift.

Pay:

From $10 per hour Expectations

• Know the inside/out & up/down of the clubhouse and salary staff (boardroom, locker room, parlor, member's upstairs bathroom, coat closet, columbia room, dining room, pub/bar, kitchen, dry storage, cleaning supplies closet, employee locker room, patio, ballroom, grill room, proshop, pool shack)
• Maintain opening/mid shift/ closing cleaning checklists
• Understand kitchen/bar lingo and etiquette
• Sort/Polish/Roll silverware
• Proper greeting and member etiquette
• Upselling
• Remaining positive towards oneself, teammates and members under stressful situations
• Confident knowledge of the food (specials, 86 items) and all beverage menus. (beer cans and bottles, drafts and kegs,wine,liquor,cocktails)
• Daily dining, events, outings, weddings table set ups
• POS knowledge (splitting tickets, member lookup, buttons, menus, modifications)
• Togo orders/Answering phone calls/Taking reservations
• Assist with putting away kitchen and bar inventory
• Being mindful when ordering personal food, not during any lunch or dinner rush. Always check.
• Arrive with complete and clean uniforms
