Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing via POS systems Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales transactions Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in the food industry Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and host/hostess duties is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm makes every guest's experience extraordinary!
