Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and resetting for new guests Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating flow Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food industry roles like bussing or serving is highly desirable Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
