Job Description
Join the Big Ed's Soda Grill Team! We're Hiring Servers. Big Ed's Soda Grill is looking for friendly, hardworking, and dependable servers to join our team! We're a family-owned restaurant with strong values, and we believe every position plays an important role in creating an outstanding guest experience. Quality is our number one priority! We're a high-volume restaurant, which means excellent tip and earning potential for motivated servers. If you enjoy working with people and take pride in providing great service, we'd love to meet you! What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Friendly, dependable, and eager to learn. Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Available for part-time shifts. Availability between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on select weekdays during the fall/school year is required (not necessarily every weekday). Servers are paid a tipped hourly wage ( $5.50/hour ) plus tips. While we do offer flexible scheduling, availability on some nights and weekends is required. Server Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Deliver food and beverages promptly. Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations when needed. Keep tables clean and the dining room looking its best. Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to provide smooth service. Complete side work and help maintain a clean, organized restaurant. Skills & Requirements Restaurant experience is helpful but not required. We're happy to train the right person. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stay organized and work efficiently during busy periods. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others. Able to stand and walk for up to 7 hours per shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
