Cuvée is a modern wine bar in Sisters where great wine, cocktails, elevated food, and great hospitality come together. We're looking for a Food & Beverage Specialist who can bounce between the food preparation, the bar, and the guests without breaking a sweat. One minute you might be slicing fish for an Ahi crudo. The next, you're pouring a glass of wine, pouring a whiskey, or convincing someone that yes, they absolutely need the adult grilled cheese! Basically, we need someone who likes food and likes people. Preferably both. What You'll Do Prepare fresh, elevated food including cheeses, charcuterie, salads, crudos, dips, and small plates Pour wine and make cocktails Hang out with guests at the bar and help them figure out what they should eat and drink Keep the food and bar areas clean, organized, and looking good Help with wine dinners, private events, and other fun things we inevitably come up with. (We've got some cool things planned!) Knock out daily prep, inventory, food safety, opening, and closing duties You Might Be Our Person If… You genuinely love food, wine, cocktails, and hospitality. (…and like to laugh!) You notice the little things. Dirty glass? You see it. Crooked plate? You fix it. Guest looks confused? You're already there You actually enjoy talking to people! (Yes, this is what we do.) You can make guests feel welcome without being weird about it You're comfortable moving between food prep, bartending, and guest service You're curious and like learning new things You can work independently without needing someone to hold your hand You have a sense of humor and don't take yourself too seriously You have food, bartending, wine, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience A Few Things You Should Know This is not a traditional restaurant kitchen. There is no giant hood. No fryer. No screaming chef. No 47-item dinner menu. (All food is prepared in front of the customers bar-side) Our food program is built around fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, beautiful presentation, and food that makes wine taste even better. Think crudo, sashimi, artisan cheeses, charcuterie, salads, dips, small plates, and other things that make people say, "Okay, we'll have that!" You'll also spend a good amount of time interacting with guests, so if your ideal shift involves hiding in the kitchen and avoiding eye contact, this probably isn't your dream job.
