Job Description
Overview Restaurant Experience is required. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy waiting on people and taking care of people then this might be the role for you. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation and transactions. This position requires a passion for the food industry, people strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Aloha POS , Toast or Micros POS systems for processing orders and payments. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience. Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Skills Experience in food preparation and handling within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Proven sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items. Proficient in basic math for cash handling and retail transactions. Previous experience in customer service within the food industry is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation. Experience in bussing, serving, or kitchen roles is a plus.
