Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Waitstaff/Hostess to join our vibrant dining team! Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation systems Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth and welcoming seating process Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Provide menu recommendations, including wine pairings and cocktail options, to enhance guest experience Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest relations Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing Assist with food preparation, bar service, and beverage refilling as needed in a fast-paced environment Buss tables promptly after guests leave, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when necessary Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality roles is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated ability in customer service, guest relations, and upselling techniques Familiarity with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail experience, and drink service standards Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities to grow!
