7:00 AM-11:00 AM Position Overview Nanna's House Restaurant & Bakery is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hospitality-driven Front of House Server to join our team as we expand our hours and begin serving breakfast. We have recently started opening for breakfast from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and this position plays an important role in getting the restaurant ready for our morning guests. The scheduled start time for opening shifts is 6:00 AM. Reliability Is a Must Because this is an opening position, you must be able to reliably arrive and be ready to work at 6:00 AM. The opening team depends on every scheduled employee being present and on time so the restaurant is completely prepared before doors open. Applicants should have dependable transportation, strong attendance, and the ability to consistently work early-morning shifts. If you cannot reliably report to work at 6:00 AM, this position will not be a good fit. Responsibilities As a Front of House Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service while helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient restaurant.

Responsibilities include:

• Arrive on time and ready to work for scheduled 6:00 AM opening shifts
• Complete all front-of-house opening duties before breakfast service begins
• Prepare and organize the dining room for opening
• Make sure tables, chairs, service areas, and guest areas are clean and ready
• Restock front-of-house supplies, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other service items
• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food orders accurately using the POS system
• Understand the menu and confidently answer guest questions
• Communicate orders and guest needs clearly with the kitchen
• Deliver food accurately and efficiently
• Check on guests throughout their meal
• Process cash and card payments accurately
• Clear, bus, clean, and reset tables throughout service
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and all front-of-house areas
• Sweep, mop, wipe down, and complete assigned cleaning duties
• Restock throughout the shift so the next service period is prepared
• Assist other team members during busy periods
• Complete assigned side work before leaving
• Follow Nanna's House food-safety, cleanliness, and customer-service standards What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who:
• Can consistently and reliably report to work at 6:00 AM
• Has reliable transportation
• Has a strong attendance and punctuality record
• Has previous restaurant, serving, or customer-service experience
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant
• Can work independently during opening duties
• Is friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests
• Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done
• Understands that cleaning and maintaining the restaurant is part of the server position
• Can stay organized while handling multiple tables and responsibilities
• Communicates well with both guests and coworkers
• Is willing to learn our menu and the importance of serving guests with dietary restrictions
