Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, managing orders efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Provide excellent guest services by building rapport with customers and addressing their needs effectively. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer relations and hospitality. Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is essential.
